Save as...

The Save As… command allows you to name and choose the location for saving step data from the active window regardless of whether the data was just read from the StepWatch, is from a file opened from the hard disk, or is from a record opened from the database.

When you Save a file, the specifications for the time you have chosen to include or exclude for analysis will be saved with the file. The excluded data will not be lost and will be available for inclusion later.

Note that the "Save As…" command DOES NOT save alterations to Database Records. To save data to the database, you must use the "Add [file name] to Database…" command in the Database menu. See Adding a Database Record for further discussion.
